My work spans early stage companies, transformation, investment decisions, portfolio structure, governance, and leading projects and programmes.

- working with founding teams to shape development plans aligned with capital raises
- ruthless prioritisation of effort to focus on the core elements of value creation
- operate across the spectrum from strategic to sleeves-rolled-up solving day-to-day problems.
Transformation
- getting to an agreed perspective on problems or opportunities
- developing a comprehensive plan for delivery
- forming and leading the delivery team, including focusing on benefits realisation.
Investment decisions
- identifying problem/opportunity statements;
- developing business cases;
- conducting market and investment analysis; and
- making investment and capital allocation decisions.
Portfolio structure and governance:
- selecting the right initiatives;
- executing well, including ensuring a laser focus on benefits, not just outputs;
- overseeing and managing risk; and
- knowing when to stop/pivot.
Leading individual projects and programmes, especially operating model and transformation ones across:
- People

- Data, and
- Service Delivery Model
And taking people on the journey with communications, transparency (when appropriate), and an approachable leadership style.

Fractional executive
I am happy to work with either an hourly rate or a retainer but my experience is that a combination of both is best: a retainer for an agreed set of hours with the ability to surge via an hourly rate for key pieces of work
